Lost EAD

I lost my EAD. Anyone has idea how can I get copy of EAD?

I think you need to file I-765 again and re-apply.

I talked to immigration officer and they said you need to reapply for new EAD.
Since I have photocopy of the EAD, is it necessary to have current EAD on hand????

I talked to my lawyer and he said as long as your employer is fine with photocopy you don't need get new EAD....So I guess I will save $175....

One question though....Has anybody renewed their license with I485 receipt????

I understand that at passport stamping time, they would ask for the card, is this an issue?

I asked my Lawyer about it and he said then cannot ask...EAD serves only Employement purpose and if you are not going to change your job then even you photocopy of EAD is fine.(...as long as they don't want original card)...

Also I found out...you can use your I-485 appliacation receipt to get your driver license's renewal. In most of the cases they will give you 2 years of renewal if you application is still pending.

I am going to try and let you know what happens.....
