Lost Birth certificate

I lost the Translated and notarized copy of my original Birth Certificate I submitted to CIS a while ago, I have a copy though, Is it ok to Translate and notarize again for CIS Purposes without any problems. any experience please

For sponsoring parents, one of the documents is a copy of birth certificate. However, they accept affidavits if any documents not available.

Does the US passport list fathers name like indian passport?

US passport does not list neither father's name nor mother's name. Thanks Rahul, I had never noticed that.
