Loss of Job after applyng for 485

Folks
Help me. I lost my job after applying for 485 and EAD and had been consulting for a year now on EAD. Now VSC wants a Employment letter. My
Ex-Boss is giving me a letter stating that "I was with them since 94 through 99 and will hire me back for further projects ( not necessarly hire me back ) " - Does this help in any way to get GC.

Hi Srini,

I would think your lawyer should have some suggestions. INS may want your employer to be more specific. I am not sure.

The employer should specifically state that they will hire you back in the position advertized for in Labor Cert. with the same job responsibilities. Only then VSC will be satisfied.
Whether your employer will do that is ... another story.......
Your lawyer should be able to get you out of this one!
