Dear:

My petition for H-1B was approved and the approval noticed was mailed to my lawyer's address. My lawyer mailed this notice to my working place. It's been more than 4 weeks. I assumed that the notice is lost in the mail.

What should I do?

1. Can I directly call BCIS and have them re-mail the new I-94 and approval notice?
2. Will it affect my status, will the new I-94 number/approval number change?

Please advise,

You are screwed. File a complaint about the lawyer with AILA
1. File I834 to get certified copies
2. if you are not forced to apply for a new H visa by the lawyer, your status will be protected.

No. My lawyer is a nice guy. He is not forcing me to apply new H-1B petition. I have been approved and I already got an eFax of the approval notice and I-94. I think it's just lost in the mail for some reason.

Can I just call BCIS and request new one? I checked my status online, it said about approval and it said if I didn't receive the letter in 14-days, I will have to update my address with them.... and I think I can have them mail the new one???

Please confirm.

Yes, you can get a copy of the H1 approval. You can also file I824 to get a copy of the approval.
