Is your interview is at LA office, when did your case transferred?

Mine transferred on Nov 7th. I was told that it would take atleast 3 weeks for th file to reach LA office.
 
i received the letter somewhere on Oct 23rd.

Online msg didnt change. But I did my 2nd FP on Oct 6, so msg changed on Oct 13, FP results received.
 
My husband's case was transfered to LA on 09/02, so far we have not received the interview notice. The online messgae is still the same as before.

My I-485 application was transferred to LA Office on December 14, 2004 and have not heard from them yet. My I-140 application was approved on December 14, 2004. My RD for I-140 and I-485 was April 14, 2004.

I have not been not been advised if the file actually got transferred yet. I understand from others that interview takes place in 6-12 weeks. That is not too bad if it happens. I live in orange county, so my file may need to be transferred to Santa Ana office.

1. Did your transfer letter state the same details as mine?
2. Could I get and RFE from a local office - Los Angeles?

Hi Richard:
Yes, my letter had a mention of interview to be conducted. Pretty standard letter. The processing date is for family based cases filed there, so it has no relevance to cases transferred from service center. I did not get any RFE earlier, and do not know why it was transferred, perhaps standard quality assurance reason.

Do you live in LA or other county?

I didn't get interview yet. I got only e-mail notification that the case is transferred to LA local office. It is more than two months now.

What was the content of the transfer letter?

Transferred to office in LA for them to schedule and conduct interview.
485 Receipt date is May 2003

Hi All

Our (me and my wife) interview is scheduled on March 16th 2005.
I have few questions though.

1. I did not get any letter from INS. My employer's Attorney got it and he fwded it to my HR manager, and he gave it to me. Is anyone in same boat as me?
2. I did not get any letter when my case was transferred to local office too. Same thing.. Letter only to Employer attorney.
3. Online status is not changed.. it still says transferred to local office.

Also how critical is having CA state DL? My wife is still having out-of-state DL. Will it cause any problem?

Have you received your interview letter yet. My case was transferred to LA in December 29th, 04 and I'm still waiting for mine.

Hi,

Like you the letter concerning my case transferred was reeived by my attorney and forwarded direclty to my employer. I never received one myself. I assume it is going to be the same for the letter interview.
