I talked to IIO on 12/28/2001 regarding my case, he told me ur PD is 4/00 and they have taken up these cases now & it will take 4 to 6 weeks. If I don\'t get by that time Ishould call again.

My detals are RD 3/5/01 ND 3/12/01

I have the same observation: when INS starts a new month they do by PD, and that make sense. But the processing length for each case varies.
 
When was it assigned PMR?

Did you ask the IIO if your case had been assigned to an officer?

I spoke with an IIO on Dec 27th and she said they just recd. the Finger printing and should be assigned soon to an officer. I did not understand why VSC recd the FP so late as according to FBI it was sent way back in August.

Incase PD is the reason that lot of March cases have not been picked up whereas some of them have been already approved, that makes sense. I remember seeing some of the March approvals with PD in 03/2000 timeframe though. So it is hard to tell. Maybe some guys were lucky.

Hopefully all the March NDs will be assigned and worked on this month.
 
IIO denied to disclose that info

He denied but he said we r looking those cases(of PD 03 or 04/00) now and he said 4 to 6 weeks. My(& spouse) FP was on 8/15/2001 and he confirmed that FP\'s are looking good. I called even FBI regarding FP they said next day that\'s 8/16 itself result was sent to INS.
As u said some r lucky and large guys with PD 03 or 04/00 r yet to be approved.
 
Could be true.!! My PD is 03/1997, Application was approved on Dec 20th....

My ND was March 09/2001
 
My PD is June 2000, AD is dec 18, 2001 (VSC)

Also, some of my friends (with June 2000 as PD) too got their approvals within a week difference.

Surely ur\'s will be approved very soon

that is probably the longest wait I have seen from the PD standpoint. have you spoken to the IIO recently to find out what the matter is?
