Currently i'm in my fist semester for MS in computer science at NJIT. I'm probably going to do PhD (still unsure). My brother-in-law he got hes GC 4 months after he got he's PhD, (2 years MS + 3 years PhD)

Now whats the best way for me to set path for myself.
Either Do MS then PhD or
Do PhD while doing MS, i know phd is tough, but i'm up for that challenge :D

which route will be easier for me to take? and does it matter which univ I do phd in? (ex. Univ. of Alaska or any crappy university somewhere in west texas.)

i really dont want to go H1 path.. I've seen many friends and my dad taking ages just to pass I-140-so on..

If I got you confused, then feel free to post..
any suggestion is good :D

thanks

A PhD is a major accomplishment in most fields. It takes many years of hard work and commitment. Even then the GC is not automatic. You need an outstanding research record to file for NIW or EB1-EA. If you want a green card quick and easy, go marry a USC. That makes you a citizen in 3 years.
