I know this is not a forum for job hunters but I decided to give it a try. I was very very lucky to avoid retrogression just in time. I got my GC in 6/07 and want to move out of NYC (whole lot of reasons: growing family, declining pay in NY, want to move to warmer climate). My experience with recruiters has not been good so far ( I have seen all the web sites for physician jobs). I know there are lot of openings but I prefer to go through contacts. Networking is the best way to get a good job. If any of your colleagues are working in Texas and know someone who is looking for a hospitalist please let me know.
