look what this stupid immigrant writes to the news papers, It really makes my blood boil.
Do people forget their past so fast. at least he could have changed his name to conceal country of his origin?

I really wonder how can people in such a well informed environment be so ignorant and misinformed.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Californian Supports Byrd’s Immigration Slowdown

Dear Editor: As an immigrant, I wish to thank you for reporting that Senator Byrd "works to stop massive immigration."

The United States is overwhelmed by problems due to Hurricane Katrina, skyrocketing oil prices, terrorism. Although some immigrants are assets, is it wise to continue to allow millions of foreign-born people to enter this country yearly who need jobs, require social services and consume energy?

Also, last December, the Mexican government published a guide advising illegal Mexican nationals on how to cross the U.S. border safely. In 2001, Ernesto Ruffo Appel, then-border czar of Mexico, reportedly told would-be illegal Mexican migrants: "If the border patrol agent finds you, try again." In 1997, Ernest Zedillo, then- President of Mexico, said in Chicago: "I have proudly affirmed that the Mexican nation extends beyond the territory enclosed by its borders and that Mexican migrants are an important - a very important - part of it."

Is Mexico using migration to extend the Mexican nation?

Sincerely,

Yeh Ling-Ling

She does seem to be a freak. I wonder what really happened to change her mind from helping immigrants to trying to keep us out. I think she mostly has issues with Mexicans. Check out the bios of the execs, there and indian there who feels the same way: http://www.diversityalliance.org/docs/DASA-BoardBios.html

Yeh Ling-Ling is a naturalized citizen born in Vietnam of Chinese parents. She had approximately 20 years of education abroad (Cambodia, Taiwan and the University of Paris-Sorbonne). Ms. Yeh immigrated to the United States in 1980.

After working for 10 years for immigration law firms, helping people immigrate to the United States, Ms. Yeh realized that, although many immigrants are assets to the U.S., problems that concern natives and legal immigrants -- including homeland security, sprawl, gridlock, overburdened infrastructure and rising ethnic tensions -- cannot be solved without also addressing rapid population growth driven mainly by record levels of immigration.

More than 200 of her articles have appeared in many publications across the U.S., such as Los Angeles Times, Harvard Law School's Record, Christian Science Monitor, Asian American Policy Review of Harvard University, Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune, Houston Chronicle, Newark Star Ledger, Philadelphia Inquirer, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, San Francisco Chronicle, Rocky Mountain News, Providence Journal, Omaha World-Herald, Providence Journal, Salt Lake Tribune, Seattle Times, Union-Leader, Sun Sentinel, San Jose Mercury News, New York Newsday, St. Paul Pioneer-Press, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Lexington Herald-Leader, San Diego Union-Tribune, Idahao Press-Tribune, Des Moines Register, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and USA Today magazine. Her scholarly article entitled, “Mexican Immigration and its Potential Impact on the Political Future of the United States” appeared in the Winter, 2004 issue of the Journal of Social, Political and Economic Studies.

Two opinion pieces by Ms. Yeh have been reprinted in a college text book, "California Dreams and Realities: Reading for Critical Thinkers and Writers.” Excerpts of her article, “Legal Immigration Must Be Curbed, Too” from USA Today magazine were reprinted in the national Sixth Edition of Prentice Hall Literature, “The American Experience.” Another article of hers, “Inside Asian America,” which originally appeared in A. Magazine, was reprinted in “American Government.”

Yeh Ling-Ling has given interviews to many sources, including CNN, and has been quoted in major newspapers including The Los Angeles Times and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She has appeared on approximately 300 talk shows. AsianWeek published a positive cover story about her work in the February 17, 2000, issue. Jonathan Alter of Newsweek wrote a column about her on MSNBC on 8/17/2001 entitled, “Immigration: Worth a Second Look.” Ms. Yeh was featured in an article in the November/December 2004 issue of the Sierra Magazine entitled, “A Tale of Two Immigrants.” She has also been on a number of immigration panels, such as those sponsored by Lewis & Clark College in Oregon and World Forum of Silicon Valley.
