Long GC journey is almost over.

RFE response received by NSC

This afternoon at 6:00pm, I got an email from USCIS:

On July 30, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 570 and 600 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

My attorney sent back the response on July 28, which was received on July 29 by FEDEX tracking.

Hopefully I will see my daughter's approval soon.

Just got an email with above message. I have called 1800 number, mailed inquiry form, etc. I did not know which one triggered the new card ordering, or it is just about time. Status for my wife and daughter's cases are still the same as before.

Got my card

on 03/05/05. My wife's card was mailed out on 03/03/05. Daughter's case status is still not updated yet.

It's over.

Finally, my daughter's card was received in the mail today.

This forum has given me a lot of hope and information, and I wish everyone good luck.

Pal, we have never met before and I don't know who you are. But today I pray for you and thank God almighty for his grace. I can only imagine the immense joy and sense of relief you are feeling at this moment, no matter where you are.

Have a wonderful wonderful life.
