I was wondering if there was any logic in determining when your case will be assigned to an officer. I have observed that the WAC number could give us a pretty good estimate of when our case will be assigned. One of the approvals I saw on the board was WAC-01-240-xxxxx. Looks like the 240 in the WAC number holds some importance. My number is 252. I have seen approvals for WAC numbers less than 252. I have not seen any approvals for WAC greater than 252 ( I might be wrong ). I think 01-242 is a julian date where 01 is the year and 242 is the day of the year. There are some new postings on Ciba\'s site that have WAC\'s with 02-003 indicating the new year dates. I am not sure on what basis these dates are assigned. My WAC has 01-252 indicating september 11th ( coincidentally ). But I am not sure why it is september 11th. My notice date is Aug 8th which I thought should have been used in my WAC. Any ideas?
Anyway, if you go by the WAC number looks like I am not far from getting an approval.
Please let me know your thought if the applications are being assigned to the officer based on the WAC and the category EB2/EB3.
