Local wating time in NYC

my case was tx to NYC the end of may 2001 (ND June 2000) and my lawyer told me that the waiting period for NYC INS is 6 months anyone, anything...

NYC local is working fast now. At this point it should not take more than 30 to 60 days to get a reply (asking for information or approval).
