When you got interview call...only you got the letter or did attorney get a copy also?

I am asking this because i am going to give change of address and if they still send it to old address..i want atleast my attorney to get interview notice.

that is a big relief..even if i change address atleast my attorney will get the notice.

When my case got transferred to the local INS office and they set up an interview date both my lawyers and I received a copy of the interview notice. Now I do not know who received the original and who the copy because both the notices looked exactly the same. So if you are planning a change of residence and are afraid that your interview notice may somehow get missed your lawyers will still have their copy.

I stayed in Maryland previously and I believe that in MD interviews are the norm before approval. This is what I was told at least.
    Also, my transfer was in April of 2001 and my interview was in June 2001.I only got approval in July not at the time of interview. I think that back then they were scheduling interviews a bit faster.

2. do yo have any idea how far down your interview date is going to be?

I think my case was trasnfered because of my job change.

I expect interview in maximum 6 months time..if i am lucky then 2-3 motnhs.

do they explicity state the reason when they send you the transfer notice, i.e. in your case did they say that because you changed your job, that is why they are transfering your case.

did you also receive a RFE?
