I just faxed a letter and call my local congressman office for an enquiry of my case.

The secretary told me she will contact tomorrow with the INS and will let me know the outcome by mail. Do you guys know what kind of help they can provide? Does it work?


I am April 02 RD and finished my 2nd FP about 3 weeks before.

Any thought will be appreciated.
 
I sent an email on 2/12 to my local Senator requesting them to initiate an inquiry into our pending 485s. After a reminder, they got back saying that they will contact me after they hear from USCIS.

Does anyone have any idea as to how long USCIS takes to respond to inquiries from Senatorial offices?

They may help with 2nd FP, EAD and AP, but if some one waiting for Name check then you have only one choice just wait.....
 
They can't do anything with 2nd FP. I have been waiting for my 2nd FP and contacted senator but they said, they can't do anything to expedite the process.
 
I also did it.

I contacted my local congressman's office and talked to congressional aide. I am waiting reply from them....
