LLC as a green card holder

Do you need to be a citizen to start a LLC (limited liabilities corporation)? I applied for citizenship recently and got my FP done. Waiting for the Interview Letter and am considering independent contracting so am thinking about starting a LLC. Just wanted to ensure that it is okay to do it as a green card holder and that it has no impact on the citizenship process as such. Thanks.
 
An LPR can set up a LLC with no issues. Also, setting up a LLC during naturalization process isn't an issue.
