HI,
I live in NJ but today I got an FP notice to appear at Boston ASC. HAs anybody had this experience before. Actually, I got my first notice late in mail. I went to Newark office but they refused to take FP and asked for rescheduling it. I called up TSC (as my case is transferred to TSC) and asked for rescheduling and this time I got it to appear at Boston.

I am in a dilemma whether to reschedule it again and wait for a month or so or take my chances and go to Boston. Also am worried that if igo then the Bosotn ASC may refuse to do it. It's already 6 yrs waiting for GC and am fed up with this crap.
Any suggestions / experiences would greatly help

thanks

You are never alone in a problem when dealing with USCIS

well,
I had the same issue.. only thing different is, I live in San Jose and got FP notice for San Francisco and fortunately it is just 35 miles apart.. hence I ran to SFO..

why it happened with me? I lived previously in an area which fell into San Franciso District office and I moved. Filed change of address. The guy at USCIS forgot to change my zip code. So I had a new address and old zip code. FP notices and interview transfers happens based on the zip code of your address..
Now. Did you live in Boston before and still have old address(or zip code) on file or it just the cruel guy at USCIS?
I have filed a correction for zip code.. not sure that it will work though.

toodle,
when did you receive your rescheduled fp notice?

I strongly suggest don't miss your fp. Go and get it done. I know many of them (including me) are waiting for a fp. If you reschedule it, donno how long it is going to take for USCIS to reschedule.

When did you talk to tsc to reschedule and how long it took for you to get the rescheduled fp? What is the notice date of your FP?

write back. all the best
