Dear Gurus,

My I-485 based on the old employer's I-140 has been pending for years. Now my 2nd I-140 with the new employer is approved. Both these I-140s are LC-based.

(1) How do I proceed to link the pending I-485 to this new I-140?
(2) What documents/information should I submit?
(3) Any tricks/traps should I avoid?

Thank you for all your kind help!

Is it possible to link a new I 140 to a pending 485, if the previous I 140 is pending(not denied) and withdrawn?

Thanks.

------------- if your I-485 is PENDING and you get new I-140 approved you can write to USCIS and make a request to interfile your new I-140 with pending I-485 file so that your I-485 should be approved based on new I-140 , attach the copy of new I-140 approval, copy of I-485 filing and MEMO copy (that is posted above).
better provide facts of your case so that others know your situation
