Link two I-140 approvals to one I-485?

Hi all,
My EB1-OR (outstanding researcher) was approved and I filed I485 based on EB1-OR a month ago. Now I know my EB2-NIW has also been approved. Can I link both I-140 approvals with one I485? Since EB1-OR is filed by my employer, but NIW is self-petitioned, is it safer to use NIW for I485 since my unit will be spun off soon? If I cannot use NIW I-140 now, after how long will it expire?

file 2 I485s at different service centers

my I-485 linked with approved I-140 of EB1-Outstanding Researcher was filed at California Service Center (all cases by my employer are filed at CSC). Can I file a new I-485 linked with approved NIW I-140 at Texas Service Center (i've living in Texas)?
