My I-485 receipt shows RD is 09/12/2002 & ND is 10/18/02
My LIN number LIN030135XXXX and I just realized that it number shows that I filed for Adjustment status only in a year 2003
Checking every day approvals by rupnet.com I am able to see that few people behind me already have an approvals or at least a lot of people in my case already received a 2-d FP
I am almost crossing 21 month of waiting period, applied for a 3-d EAD on 05/22/04 and don't have a 2-d FP or RFE yet
My lower's answer is:
The government's fiscal year starts on 10/1. Given the date of the notice, they probably assigned you a receipt number after the start of the new fiscal year. It should have no substantive bearing on the timing of your case. I see no reason to believe that your case is behind in any way.
