If you don't have a choice then you don't have a choice.
But if you do then stay put till your green card comes through and then make your changes. Because after the RFE if you get a local transfer then you would have a lot of explaining to do. It shouldn't create complications but it is just better off if you wait till you get approved.
Because as per Ac-21 you are portable anywayz so you should be ok. Unecessary complications are best avoided at this stage.
