Does anyone out there know what up with the life act situation.

I filled my i-485 June 10,2002, file transfered to houston office Nov 7,2002.
I had my finger prints done july , 2002.
My interview and test took place on March 25, 2003.
Since than I have not heard anything frim them. I called Ins about 40 days ago to see into this, they said that I would hear something in about thirty days, no news, so i called again and they are reinvestigating.

please if there is someone out there that could give me an update on similar situations.

thanks

I know one person who lived in miami have same issue , from SR counrty, he done fp+interview+told he would receive decission in 90 days when last year in 2003 he went for interview, and since many try, no luck, by chance we came across recently, I advised him to use his attorney and keep visiting local office, found he has hisitation to speak with attorney or may be attorney fee issue.

seems u are in same boat. visit to local office with attorney, local attorney do have links to dig out the issue. hope it would help u , and keep us update.

I can tell u making call 800 will never help u, they have scripts to read the std answers. spend $$ walk-in local office with attorney and u would get result.

Good LUck

I have my life act / CSS approved on 12/19/03 and I went to the local office for my PP stamping for temporary evidence of permanent resident however as of this date I have not received my Plastic card. is there anyone that has been approved received thier plastic card already?

My interview was on 04/21/03 at Soto Street East Los Angeles, CA. The officer did not approved it on spot, He ask for more additional evidence to support my Legal presence since 1981. I summit it on 07/20/03. and I received my approval letter on 12/19/03.

I will be going again for the 2nd PP stamping next week. BTW, The photo that I sumitted before is the old type. I belived that they already revised the phot "ADIT" I'm not sure if this is the cause delay pf my plastic card.

Hi kzjamal,
you said the INS reinvestigates your case. Do you know or did they tell you why they reinvestigate your case?
