We had our I-485 interview back in September but the officer could not approve our application as our previous A-File was not received from another state.
They received ultimately after 8 months and have send me a letter asking to come to local office with Passport, Travel Documents and any outstanding warrants, arrest records. The letter also states "TO COMPLETE YOUR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS APPLICATION".
Has anyone had similar situation.. what does it mean ? will I get approved for perm residence then and there ? will they stamp my passport ?
My wife did not get any similar letter.. I guess she is beneficiary based on my approval.. any advice.
