letter of good conduct

Does any one have any idea where to get a letter of good conduct from maryland. I tried calling a couple of police dept. and they refuse to give any letters..the ins office asked a letter of good conduct for the approval of my 485 case
 
Any idea why this was sent to you ?

Was there any complaint about you from anyone. You can get one from your employer I guess.

this is becos my fingerprints are not coming out satisfactory and they cannot classify my prints

I don\'t think it is a conduct certificate, it must be a police clearance certificate.

you need to get police clearnce (record checks) from all the places you lived (more than 6 months) in USA during last 5 years. you can use usacops.com site to find the ph.no of the police department where you lived. Call them before so that you will know what they want from you to give the certificate.

thnx for the information....

the immi. officer gave me a letter on which she wrote that I need to submit a letter of good conduct from all the places I have stayed...nothing related to the time period, i stayed for 2 months in Maryland and she wants a letter from there as well and the cops over there are giving me a tuf time making them understand what I want...they are very rude ;(
