letter of employment

Welcome here what you want to know .............

hi...
can someone post a sample of a letter of employment please????
thanks

Welcome, really it's so simple thing, but it was big story for me (Since it's for US DV Interview) find below the one I submitted and accepted by the embassy consular officer:-

Ref: xxxxxx
Date: xx/xx/xxxx

To: Whom it may concern

Subject: Employment Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

This letter to confirm that, Mr. xxxx xxxx xxxx, the holder of xxxxx Passport No. xxxxxx is currently working with us, as one of our official full time working staff. He holds the position of xxxxxx. His employment with us began on Month/Year.

This letter issued and given to him upon his request.

Sincerely,

For / Company name

xxxx xxxxx xxxxx
General Manager

But remeber it should be on your company orginal letter head along with signature and stamp, and since you will provide true information you will not miss to answer any question about it like:

* When did you join? or for how long you been working with them?
* What your position there?

Wish you all the best ........................

which country are you?did you have to show a letter of continued employment or a prospective letter of employment

which one required, USA job offer or employment letter

which country are you?did you have to show a letter of continued employment or a prospective letter of employment

No way, there is no prospective job in this case, why? If the employment letter is requested as one of your second NL documents to be arranged for your interview, that means it happened as you returned back your DS-230 form to KCC with information about your job details (Position, Responsibilities & Experience) so how it’s going to be prospective? And for sure it’s never going to be needed unless the principal applicant referred to his current job details.

But somehow I got doubt that you are confused about it, so let me to tell this:

• Employment Letter: prove for (job/Work Experience), so you have to get it from your current employer (usually from employer the country you are living in now).
• Job Offer: prove for (Affidavit of Support) and this is the prospective one, since it’s going to be your future job (Only from employer in USA).

Try to make sure from your case required documents, for example in my case both of them was needed for interview (Employment Letter & Affidavit of Support).

Hope I made clear & helpful information for you.

i think you misread these informations :eek:nly a letter of employment proving the current status of your sponsor(in case of an affidavit of support)is required.
the job offer is a different ballgame

If a person is scheduled 4 an interview and he wants to use work experience as the qualification, then the employer refuses 2 grant the letter of showing employment wot hapens.?
