letter from previous employer with LCA

Dear friends,

I am new here with a question about LCA in Massachusettes.
My company attorney filed up my LCA and I got priority date and case #. But he only list "copy of transcript" in item 14 in ETA 750 Part B. (the documents Attached which are submitted as Evidence that alien possessed the education, training, experience, and abilitites represented). He did not attach the employment verification letter from my former employer in US which he asked to obtain before he filed up the applicaiton to DOL.

I am wondering if it is not necessary to submit this letter now to DOL? Please do advise me. Many thanks.

I've never seen DOL ask for experience letters, they are only usually requested at the I-140 level. I normally ask for the experience letters if I can get them since that way there is less liklihood of a surprise regarding skills or experience and they will be available when we are ready to file the I-140.

BTW, an LCA is a Labor Condition Application (Form ETA-9035) and is used for H-1B processing while an LC is a Labor Certification (Forms ETA-750A&B) and is used for GC processing when required. I could have an approved LCA in an hour but it would take months or years to get an LC approved.

thanks jim for your clarification

Thank you very much for the input and clarification!

My attorney mentioned the similar thing to me a while ago.
It's a relief for me to get confirmation from you that DOL doesn't
require the letter to prove experience.

Thanks
