When u file for labor certification with local work force commission/agency they provide a receipt no. which has the following details:
1. office LC filed at
2. Date filed
3. Case number
4. Person's name who recieved the case.
5. Phone number to call to check the status.
Ask ur attorney to provide the acknowledgement that he must have recieved.
