Lets track RFE waiters!

Hi NSC1000: I\'m in 140 stage; however, I\'m posting here because there is a close similarity. I have replied to my EB1 RFE on 140 and AVM says NSC received it on 01/08/2002. I still don\'t have a response. Do you have any knowledge what\'s up? I was told by everyone who has any idea about NSC and/or RFE\'s that this shouldn\'t take more than 3 weeks, at most a month. I\'m a little worried. Please share anything that you may know.

What does VM says in your case, is it "RFE recived blah...its taking 350-380 days, however premlinry processing is done, it will take 380 days,"

Nope I have no other info, except that many of my friends who had replied to their RFE after my RFE had been received by INS (i.e. they sent their reply after Jan 9th) have been approved 2 weeks ago.

I think I will wait this week and try to call in next week. I have never called, but from other\'s experience it appears that it is very hard to get through and once you get through half of the people on the other line really don\'t know what they are talking.

I will keep everyone posted..lets hope for the best.

Have been in USA almost 10 years

Got 2 REFs so far, last AVM update is 1/22/2001 for the 2nd REF.
Called NSC 2/19/2002 and found the 3rd REF was sent out on 2/15/2002.

Is there anyone experencing with REFs more than 2 REF? Thanks.
 
What were your previous RFE\'s about?

I would have assumed that NSC will send all the possible RFE\'s in one shot but looks like they find one send RFE close file and wait for response..

I just heard the magic words on AVM this afternoon that both mine and my wife\'s cases have been approved.
