Thanks comcast. I am a Tibetan and am very sad for my fellow countrymen/women in Tibet.
After over half a century of Chinese military invasion and illegal occupation of Tibet and after the deaths of 1.2 million Tibetans, The terrorist Chinese authorities have once again chosen to massacare Tibetans inside Tibet who are peacefully protesting the occupation, mistreaments and human rights violation .
Tibetans are minority in thier own country and Hans Chinese outnumbers the Tibetan population. Tibs are treated worse then a dog by Chinese in Tibet and they are tortured, jailed for years and killed just for keeping our own national flag, practise their own religion or keeping a photo of Tibetan's beloved leader who is recognized and admired by millions around the world.
Tibetans sure have the right to defend their fellow countrymen from getting killed.
Tibetans did not fight back against Chinese for 6 decades though the Chinese have killed hundreds of thousands of Tibetans since the invasion of Tibet.
Tibetans are recognized throughout the world as very peaceful people cos of our religion and belief!
Les condemn this terrorist Chinese action and
boycott this beijing olympic!

I am afraid that this can get really ugly. The Chinese government is conceding that 10 people were killed last week. In light of its record of covering up bad news, I suspect that the true death toll was much higher.
Just remember the current Chinese despot, Hu Jintao, cut his political teeth 19 years ago by killing Tibetan people. If push comes to shovel I have no doubt that he will pick continued Chinese occupation of Tibet over the hosting of the Olympics.

the death toll is at least 50 to 80. Tibetan goverment in exile who gets real body counts reports and tibet situation says at least 80 killed including young Tibetan girls.
So sad that my fellow countrymen/woman died in the hands of Chinese in their own country! Now the chinese are going door to door dragging Tibetans out, beating and arresting them. I am sure many of those buddhist monks and nuns who already got arrested will be tortured and killed as they have been doing for almost 6 decades.
Its time international community act on behalf of the peaceful people of Tibet!
