Do I need to Renue My Visa even after filing my 485

Hi

   I have already filed my 485, and my visa expires in December 2001, Do I still need to renue my Visa? Please advice
 
MD 8/1 RD9/26 ND 9/26, waiting approval

I just received my receipts for EAD, AP, 485. Eventhough my MD was 8/1, the EAD RD is 9/26 and ND is also 9/26. Does this mean I have to wait for 90 days from 9/26 to obtain EAD from local office. My 6 year H1 expires on Nov 28, 2001. Will this be a problem, or EAD will be approved by VSC befor then.

However, RD\'s on AP and 485 are 8/2/01....Anyone has similar experience..

Just checked AVM from VSC. EAD not approved yet.
But, I see several people with ND around 9/20/2001 who has been approved this passing week. So, we should receive approval notice pretty soon.
