I saw iwantmygc details on 5/14 now moved to 5/25.
actually I saw his detail on other site his RD as 5/3.

I donot know what is happening

Please folks don\'t make any changes, just update your details.
Otherwise It will be difficult to track the actual situation.

I think I remember this guy iwantmygc once said his lawyer told him it was mailed on May 14, but when he got receipts , the RD says May 3, so he is not sure whether his lawyer told him wrong, or INS is worng.
but anyway he got his receipts, who cares who is wrong ?

I know that he did\'t mess up. But If see now it went to 5/25, not
his orginal date 5/14.

Thats why asked our folks to update their own details.

nope..it will be cashed ONLY after the ND ..
usually the next day after you receive the receipt..
(depends on the gap betwee ND & dispatching time)
 
I485 RD and 180 day rule

We knew INS has the fronlog problem. So which date is used to calculate 180 day, ND or RD ? Sometimes even ND is 1 or 2 month later
than the filing(deliver) date, which means we have to wait 8 month from filing I485 to be on the safe side. Sometimes even one day is life savor. Any thoughts on this issue ?

INS will be using RD for 180 days rule. because lot of people who applied 485/EAD in april and got their receipts after almost 3 months.

some of them are getting interim EAD from local INS offices based on EAD RD not ND. If INS considers ND for the 90 days rule for interim EAD , None of them will get it and will be denied point blank.

I think this evidence is more than enough to believe it.

I read a post in www.immigration-law.com breaking news, some people
filed last minute 245(i) application on April 30th, but get a RD in May which invalidate the application because if past the dead line.
So what happend if INS issue a RD one month later than the filing date ?

I haven\'t seen one month differnce in RD so far. if so we should better correct it through our attorney before making any move.

I am planning to add some more date tracking stuff into http://www.infitime.com, like Fingerprint date, RFE date and Approval date, are they enough to help track cases? Also I am tuning up the web site in order to make it faster, has anybody experience slow reponses? Thanks for the input.

I am a little on the verge of going postal after
my meeting with my boss. Things suck.
Has VSC made any movement after the new Mail room
contractors. I don\'t think so. Prove me wrong.

I filed for 485 in December 2000. My file just disappeared at
VSC and now again filed in mid-May. No news still, other than
I might be laid off :0

Hi , everyone,
Just called VSC this morning around 11:30 AM, IIO said they are
processing May 2 receipts, which is the same as I got from my last
conversation with IIO last Friday. IIO told me to check back 3 weeks later , mine was filed around May 15 (lawyer\'s assistant told the date).
so it looks like I-485 is still considered as low priority , perhaps they move a few days per week.

Let\'s wait and see who is the next to get receipt.

INS Nightmare.. What is the problem buddy?

Earlier you were impatient about your H1B approval. Then for receipts. Then for EAD. Now you have everything of these .. just relax for FP. It seems along with VSC you are creating nightmare for yourself.

Be patient .. If you want to enjoy life, learn to hang in there.
