Length of stay outside USA on AP

Hi guys,

My present AP is expiring on April 12 2002 and I plan to file an extension soon. I want to know 2 things -

* Documents needed to file extension of AP
* Is there a defined length of stay on AP ??

April 12, 2002 is tomorrow. I would have applied 4 months ago for renewal.
You will need form I-131 and previous AP copy. That\'s all. DO it now and you will get it in 1 to 3 months.

AP is valid for 1 year. So you need to be back before then.
