I applied for I-485 in NE but now I live in NY. Do my case must transfer to NYC? Is it possible that we can avoid this kind of transfer?

I am not sure but..my understanding is you file ur 485 based on where ur office or head office is. SO i guess you shud be fine if you have the office in that area.

Like ...I live in NJ.I report to NY office..My process is being done in NSC as we have our head office in Chicago...
