Hello, I hope you can help me a little bit with suggestions as well as hopefully some facts
I was in the US for a couple of months, but decided to stay a bit longer so on my 5th month on stay in the US, I applied for the extension for my stay.
While I was waiting for the answer, my I-94 date already passed and didn't receive an answer from DHS. I waited and waited until I received the notice that I was denied the extension, so I left the US. I waited almost 3 more weeks after the I-94 date expired.
However, my tourist visa doesnt expire until 2010 and I was wondering if DHS cancels my tourist visa on their system or can I go back to the US and give my paperwork from DHS to the immigration officer? What are the chances that they will just send me back?
I want to go to Korea with my gf and the easiest way from my country (Guatemala) is transferring in the US, if not I have to go to Mexico - Canada - Japan - Korea LOL i dont want to go almost 3 days on flight XD
Thanks for your help!!
