Leaving USA after citizenship

Many of you may be familiar with my case. We applied for naturalization after 18 year of GC. We had multiple trips outside and the first 13 years we hardly spent 2-3 weeks each year in US. We kept our GC live and renewed it after 10 years. In the last 5 years we had physical presence to qualify for citizenship. Now that we are citizens we are planning to leave USA for good. We would like to know how to keep it live for rest of our life ???

Is there any requirement of visiting USA ?? Of course i will continue to file my tax annually. Any thing we should do or take care before we leave USA. Welcome advice/ comments.

Once you become a US citizen, there is no requirement to live in the US and you get to keep US citizenship for the rest of your life. You are required by law to file US tax returns. Of course, you will have to meet residency requirements in the country you propose to make your future home.

If you have any greencard holder minor children (under 18) take care of their N-600 Application for Certificate of Citizenship (if desired) before departure. They cannot file from abroad. It is not required but is helpful.
