Once approved during the interview, would you take the risk of leaving the country after that and only come back for the oath ceremony. The obvious answer is No, but do they ask you any questions during the ceremony that would make you disclose whether you permantly left the country or not after the interview?

Generally speaking, what kind of questions do they ask during the oath?

Thanks,

They definitely do ask you if you have travelled (I got asked today). They ask other questions found on the back of the oath letter, such as "Were you arrested, cited... since your interview", etc.

I know people who were practically living outside the US before and after the interview, and still got citizenship. I don't know if they lied, or if they weren't asked, but it's a very risky endeavour, one with which they got away, but many do not.

But a trip for about 3 weeks should not be a problem right? suppose if they take 2 months to get you oath after interview?
