Leaving company after 485 approval

Folks,
I have received my 485 approval about two months back and now wants to join a permanent job in some other company which of course my current company doesn\'t want me to do so. I would highly appreciate if you answer any of the following questions:

1. Is it possible for the current company to cancel my Green Card?
2. How much is safe waiting period before one should change company after 485 approval?
3. What could be the worst consequences if I leave my current company against their wish?

On this forum, I have read about jobs being changed after their passport got stamped. I suggest, go through some old postings in this forum, probably you might find some answer.

If your employer has no problem with your leaving then you may safely leave or else wait for the cards and make it has been 3 months past the approval. This way the burden of proof is on INS to prove that you obtained th GC in a wrong way.. Typically after 3 months nobody can do anything...

Once you\'ve got your GC, they can\'t do shit unless you commit a crime.

Once you\'ve got your GC, they can\'t do anything.
Especially if you move to a similar job in the same industry, it shouldn\'t matter. Its kinda similar to the >180 day portability issue.
