leaving canada while PR is in progress

Hi,

My wife is canadian citizen, and she is sponsering my PR. Our application is still in progress. I live in USA.

I have following questions,

# Could she go outside of canada, while she is sponsering my PR and the PR is still under process? (she is a canadian citizen.)

# (I dont think so that there is any restriction on me, but) is it advisable for me to stay in USA until i get canadian PR, or can i go outside of USA/canada?

your experience and your knoeledge would be helpful to me to make desicion!

For a visit? Of course she can leave Canada. Sponsoring a relative does not imprison you in Canada
