Leave the US within 6 years of H1B to work with same employer's India office for a year

Hi,

In the above situation if employer has started GC processing will it continue during the time that employee is in India? Or will it get aborted? Does it depend on nature of move - whether one gets a INR salary or continues to get paid in USD ..

Please advise ... thanks

It will not get automatically aborted. Remember, an employment based GC is for a job in the future.
