My green card is at fingerprinting stage. I came to India for a family emergency and I got stuck here in a legal issue. I am going to make an appeal on this issue, but the appeal process may take some time 4 months (approx.) . My question is during this appeal time which is the better option among the following two,
(ONE) Take leave of absence from my existing job until the case ends
(TWO) Transfer my current job to India for good
If I take leave of absence, will it affect immigration status ? If I transfer my current job temporarily to India, can I resume my green card processing after I come back ? Note: My advanced Parole is valid until May 2005.
