leave for a job in another country while 485 pending

Dear all,

What will happen to my pending 485 if I take a job in another country? I know for sure it will be considered abandoned without an approved AP. What if I leave after the AP is approved?

(Please don't speculate why I leave the US for that job. :))
 
It might considered abandoned and might be not. Also depends on your sponsoring company. Will they be ok with you leaving and they still following up with your case?

Thank for your reply, BobbyZee! My I140 is EB2-NIW, which was a self-petition, ie, not sponsored by any employer. What do you think now?
