LCA transfer..urgent advice needed

I was all set to leave for USA this weekend. However, my employer suddenly says that I cannot go to USA before they file for LCA transfer. Plz note that my H1B was approved with a different LCA (different location).

This has left behind the following queries:

1. What is the typical time for LCA transfer?
2. Cant they file for LCA transfer after reaching USA?

Plzz guide me...I dont want to be in any confusion on this matter..Plzz help

they can get new LCA for new location in 2 days
they CAN also file LCA after you reach US.
I dont think your employer is giving you correct info, he may have no job for you at this time and may be trying to delay you coming to US
