LC Salary is $10,000 > actual salary

Guys,
My I-485 was filed in March 2003. I have not changed my company. My concern is lying with difference of salary on LC and actual one. I am drawing $10,000 less than LC salary. My lawyer says this is fine as GC is for future job; I can draw less before approval of I-485. Lawyer said that company should pay according to LC once I-485 is approved. My I-140 was approved in March 2003.
What are your opinions?

What percentage is the 10000 difference? There have been people with even 10 - 25% difference.
