LC Permium Processing - New LC Procedure

Why don\'t we have any discussion on this New Law that just released few days back. I read this on some other site. and according to that Labour Department is going to stop this RIR and regular LC prcocessing, and starting this new law which would take only 1-3 months to get LC process completed. Actually it would be Federal Level processing only, there will not be any state level LC process according to this law.

Even after the comment process is complete, the DOL may be unable to make the changes immediately. Additionally, according to Harry Sheinfeld, Solicitor, DOL, Employment and Training Administration, the DOL does not have the technology to implement the proposed procedures at this time. At a May 3, 2002 AILA conference, he estimated that the DOL would not have the technology required until January 2003, at the earliest.

The deadline for the comment process is July 5th, 2002. I saw somebody posting an estimate time of Oct. 2002. Doubt it.
