LC in Florida

I am new here. I hardly find any discussions about Florida LC. Hope some of you can give me some advice.

I just got my H1b a week ago. Now I am trying to find a local lawyer (Tampa FL) for GC. My company does not have any GC experience. The employer asked me to find a good lawyer to file my GC. He will support my application.

1. Does anybody know any good immigration specialists or lawyers in this area?

2. Is it practical to hire a lawyer outside Tampa or outside Florida? If so, can you recommend one?

Not at all problem hiring a lawer from outside of the florida ..
There are very good lawers are there for immigration purpose ..
Try murthy.com and rv reddy and our immigraton portal owner rajesh and search in the forums also .. spend some time you will find good lawers ..

Do you know time to get LC approval in florida

Hi,

Does anyone know how long does it take to get labor approval from florida.
My employer files gc from florida.
I want to know, how long does it take to get labor approval and how long ads have to be run.
My employer is telling me that it takes 6 months to get the labor apporval. Is it true.
Has anyone got approval recently.

Hi - my LC application was received at the Atlanta DOL 1/23/03 and am still waiting. It has been approximately nine months. Though you can access the processing time online, I find these to be not helpful as it tends to go back and forth. I actually have a friend who's application was received December 2002 in Atlanta, and was approved. Could somebody shed some light on this matter?
