My employer applied my LC and he says that he got 45days letter. What kind of proof do I need to get from my employer for LC filing?

You should ask for a copy of the letter.

Ask your employer/attorney for a copy of the 45 DL.
It contains the case#(ETA#), Priority Date (Date when the LC application was received at the State) and ofcourse your name and company name.
