I have about 3 yrs of h1-b left. My employer(a small company) is willing to process my GC with some strict policies like (if an employee leaves within 3 years after getting GC, he/she must pay the cost of GC processing in full). So i am in the process of finding out if wheather it even worthwhile to start my GC in USA any more?
Gurus, can you please advice me how long will it take to process GC considering the current labor climate? Speculations are that it may take atleast 18 months to get the Labor Certified (SESA and DOL included) or may be more?? So i am anticipating about 3 years to get the GC in hand even if i start my process tomorrow? (Plus 3 more years with my employer becoz of the policy ie 6yrs!! total)
