LC Approvals from PBEC ( new)

Va Approval!!!!!!!!

Finally I came to know yesterday that my LCA is approved. I checked DOL website to check the status and it was showing the case as CLOSED. I contacted my attorney and they told me that LCA is approved. I don''t know which date but I'm happy to know that it's approved.

Three days ago, I got a phone call from my lawyer and was informed that my LC was approved. My employer got the mail the same day.

I sent a email to Info@PHI.DFLC.US from my work email on 9/6, and received a reply within 2 seconds saying that it is still in process, and I will receive a 45-day letter very soon. This morning, I received an email from Info@PHI.DFLC.US saying the status is certified. But my attorney have not received anything yet. My attorney will call the Phiily center.

Here is the reply from Philly backlog center:

ETA Case Number: P-05189-xxxx

Priority Date: 07/23/2003, NY

Processing Type: RIR

Case Source: State

Case Received Date: 07/23/2003

Processing Center: Philadelphia Backlog Elimination Center

Case Status: Certified (No date is provided)

Does this mean LC is approved?

My employer wrote an email yesterday, and the reply is that the application has been "CERTIFIED". Notification which includes certified application has been sent to the employer/employer's representative.

Finally done with the Labor stage. So relieved.

I have been a silent observer of this forum for more than 3 years. Just an email from my lawyer sayin that my Old Labor with my previous company got approved after 3.5 years. My case is EB-2 (MS+2 or BS+5 years). PD 3/2003 from MD. Looks like things are moving finally atleast for 2003 guys. I still feel sorry for the folks with earlier PD's.

Today I received a notification from my law firm that my labor has been approved. Details can be found in my signature. This forum has been very helpful, specially, the tracker for providing hope during the desperate wait. I can understand the painful wait and I hope that everybody will be out of this PBEC mess very soon now, specially, 2001/2002 folks.

Hi All

The attorney called 202 numbers this morning and was informed that My LC has been approved on Aug 28th.Still we have not received the hard copy yet. Any way I have been waiting for this good news for more than 4 years.

When we called DOL a month before, they stated that my case was recommended for NOF.But we have not received any NOF.I believe that it could be PBEC’s internal Notation to track the case.

Thanks a lot to everyone and also wish and pray for everyone to get their LC sooner.

Oct 2002 Approval

Long time reader but first post.

Happy to report that I got my Labor Certification about a couple of days back.

Details below:

When I (or rather my lawyer) checked the status of my case for the first time in Early August, the status was "Assigned to Analyst" in May and estimated time for the process to move to the next step was anywhere from 3 months to 9 months.

Got mad after that and based on the advice of fellow sufferers of this forum, ended up writing a letter to the local Senator(Dianne Feinstein).

And, sure enough, ended up with the Labor in hand within a month.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.

Would reiterate advise for those with PD from 2001/2002 to follow up with your senator.

Just make sure to specify what the senator's office should do (follow up with the DOL on your case) and why (hardship etc)

July 14th 2003 LC is certified

I just check my LC status from website www.pbls.doleta.gov/pbls_pds.cfm. It shows my LC is certified. My status was Data Review last week, so I don't know if I can believe this website or not. My lawyer hasn't received the certified letter. My details are:
