Yes you can use this PD after you get an approved I-140 for this LC. Then when applying for I-485 you can transfer PD.

Finally Got my approval

Finally I got my approval after more than 3.5 years.

I called my lawyer last week to find out if they can call the 202 number to check the status since my company received 2 approvals for the dates filed after me. To my surprise, she checked my files and told me that they already had received the labor approval by July 20th !~!!.

The case worker who was handling my case is on maternity leave and so no one bothered to let me know. Since I moved my apartment last month , I did not get the notification at home and to make it worse even my company moved 6 months back and so the company has also not received the notification.IF I had not called probably I would not have heard for another 2 months till my case worker came back.

Though I was mad at my attorneys, I am atleast happy to be over this mess.

Certification Date : July 20th
Date Labor was received : Not known , since only lawyer got the notice

My signature has the other details.

Hope everyone gets the labor approval and gets on with their lives!!

Labor approved

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys,

I've been a silent occasional visitor to this forum, and would like to report that my labor has been approved. Details:

RIR EB2 California, Priority Date 06/30/2003.

Sorry I dont have any more details.

My case is a little unique. My wife got fed up 'cause she couldn't work on an H4, so we decided to come back to India while the labor got processed. The owner of the company that sponsored me is a family friend, so he agreed to this.

Looking ahead, I was wondering if anyone could answer a couple questions:
1. I obviously have to go for CP. I know Green Card application is for future employment, but it strains the credulity to believe that an employer would wait 4 years for a prospective employee. So even though I will have all the paperwork, do you think I would have problems in the final stage?

2. Should I file I-140 immediately or wait for premium processing? Is it likely that this will start soon for EB2?

3. Anyone recomend a good lawyer for the next stage? My current guy is too inaccessible, especially since I am not in the US. Rajiv Khanna?

The forum was a great help, thanks to everyone who participated!

Bye,
Sharath

Labor Approved

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just got an email from the attorney that my labor is approved. When my manager had called up the 202 number about a month ago, we were told to expect a NOF , which they were likely to send soon. Fortunately, the approval came instead of the NOF.
