Certified Letter Received Today

My lawyer received the certified letter today in the mail.

online CERTIFIED = 12/19/2006
Letter received = 01/05/2007
Total days = 17

I have seen a few approvals from OCT 2004.Latest I have seen was 2nd week of OCT 2004. What's your exact PD ?
 
PD was October 8th, 2004. EB3 - RIR - Virginia.

With the 45day letter (Feb 2006) , I was asked to send proof about the existance of the company.
 
Hooray! Finally it's my turn to report good news. As of today, the website shows my case certified. After 50 month desperate and painful waiting it eventually arrives.

Good luck to everyone still in the tunnel, especially those whose cases were filed in 2001 and 2002.

Today jan 22, 2007 I've got some news that I became spechless. I was so excited to have my LC approved . My lawyer told me that I can do nothing right now, I have to wait in order to be able to apply for even I-140 , I cannot have a work permit so soon, it is a back log and I have to wait for visa numbers to be available(???), I don't unserstand the whole thing about immigration that's why I hired him. I am not from retrogressed country , EB-3 RIR, he said that he is going to get back to me at the end of the week to explain to me in more details . So I told him " all this LC aproval doesn't mean anything, he goes "yes it means that you just passed one step"
Oh, hell.

Congratulations. Can you indicate if your case was RIR or TR? Mine is a pending TR case with a PD of Dec 2002 from MA. Still waiting. :mad:

Last night was IN PROCESS, so I suppose my LC has been certified today.
