Hi
From this forum, as I understand the following actions have to be taken in order to ensure that proper documentation can be provided to INS in the event of invoking AC 21 clause for GC app.
a) Get salary slips that prove 6 months of employment with the sponsoring employer
b) Get copies of I140, I485
c) Discuss the possibility of either retaining the current attorney or hire another one
Is there anything else that is needed
For (a), if an applicant have 5 months of employment + a letter stating that the person will be on the payroll for another month
will it suffice
For (b), am not sure how to get I140 from the current attorney since it is employer's property and especially if the the current attorney knows that another attorney will be hired
For (c), does one hire a new attoreny immediately(but I don't understand for what purpose until and unless there an application for EAD renewal or an RFE etc is to be made)
How much do the attorneys usually charge?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
